Having started in the Boer goat business in Sept. 2004 with 5 full blood does we now have a grand total of 96 head (full blood & percentage) as of this date (29 April 2009).  Some of these are percentage does that we are breeding to our own bucks in hopes of getting some nice percentage does to show in 2009.  We also have 9 fullblood does that we bred last fall also.
2008 was a pretty good year for us in showing in as much as we increased our number of shows entered.  Our little doe CBGR Dixie Delight earned Jr. Reserve Champion twice with a couple of firsts in her class as well as several 2nd, 3rd & 4ths.  We bought her from Barry, Linda & David Carwell of Carwell Boer Goats in Cherry Valley, AR.  She is by the ennobled pair of CBGR Dixie Man by Buster out of a Gauge dtr. and her mom is Eggs Ash Creek Jackie a Cannon dtr. out of an Eggspense Account Dtr.  

We have sought to improve the genetics in our breeding and show stock.  We feel like we have done this and will continue to move in that direction.

We are located in NE Arkansas along Crowley's Ridge just North of Paragould, a rapidly growing town of approximately 25,000.   .
